Dosing pumps and uses

So I am looking at getting a dosing pump for auto feeding but I am trying to figure out which one I should go with. So I was wondering what kind of pump do you use and what for? Also, do you add anything to it or water it down to get it to flow or anything like that. I am looking to feed my fish and corals with one. So personal experience more than welcome here please.
