Dot Dash Butterfly

Hi everyone,



I saw a dot dash butterfly at my LFS and i really wanted to put it in my tank, I was wondering if it would be ok
in a 55 gallon. I would also want to know anyone's experience with the dot dash butterfly.

I had one In my 120 gal. qt for six weeks. was In my dt for about a month. ate good and seemed healthy. one morng I found it dead. I have all peaceful fish so aggression wasn't an issue. same thing happened with a threadfin. my tank may not have been mature enough, although it was about 4 months old with 140 lbs of live rock. bf's are not the easiest fish to acclimate to a tank. I gave up with them and started adding coral. maybe some day I may try a pyramid or banner as they seem to be the most reef safe.

I ended up deciding not to get the butterfly.
