This is a follow up to a thread from earlier this week about my orchid dottyback being weird. He shown some signs of what I think to be improvement. He doesn’t cling to the top or bottom of the tank anymore, but more often than not to the corner and kind of swims up and down the corner. he doesn’t seem very interested in food and is really skinny. I’ve treated for flukes and then melafix. I’ve been keeping a very close eye out for signs of aggression, and nobody seems to be bugging him even when he isn’t very capable of moving.

I wish I could attach a picture but the one time that I actually have time to post, he decided to hide in a rock . 🫠

Is hiding in corners and swimming up and down indicative of anything? any help to get him back to normal or to get him eating would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

I recall this. What foods are you offering and based on the body, it was thought aggression played a role. Did you find aggressor?
