Dragonet questions

Hello, I was wondering if I could safely house a dragonet. I have pods everywhere in my tank. Never had to dose them either. They cropped up and exploded in population. They're in my filter, rocks and sand. I have hundreds probably more around the glass of my tank on the rocks and sand during the day. My tank size is a 75 gallon tank. Tank is 8 months old and the pods have been in there around 3 months.

I'm very new to the hobby and wanted to ask the experienced people here if this is the time to add one in.

I would still add more pods a couple weeks before introduction.
Are you getting captive bred?
What other fish types are present in the tank?

Otherwise it sounds like you have a good plan.

Mandarin don't eat all pod types so make sure your tank has the right types.

The only other fish I have are two clown fish. Other than that i have the basic clean up crew of snails and a hermit. From what i can tell they're Munnid isopods. I think. I will attach a photo for you maybe you could help me identify?

Also, Yes I will be getting captive bred. I read from other threads here that Biota would be a good place to get one.

But for right now, if the move is to wait i definitely will. I will probably just let the current population i have manifest.

I’d say you are good to go and can always add more as needed.
