my dragonsoul favia colony is doing something interesting. check out the coloration up close. anyone's doing this color change? developing a orange pink then green inside then purple in that rim. weird.

Wow i would have guessed it was higher up. I just recently got a frag of the dragon soul...right now it is on the sand. I have 150W Sunpod Radium 20K. Mine is still dark around the edges but i will keep an eye on it.

cool! nice pickup! my piece was a 3 eye frag that i traded to my buddy. and i acquired it back after it grew to this beast!

Actually my dragon soul did something similar. All the red flesh turned mostly green and orange about 6 months ago. It happened when I went to St. Thomas on vacation. While I was gone my lights decided not to come on so the tank went without light for 10 days. The red gradually came back and now it looks normal.

mine did the same...then went all purple and green this was under phoenix then i change to leds then radiums

so too much light makes them brown out? I love my dragon soul. Hope it colors back up for you

thanks. yeah i was wondering about that. my buddy's tank actually had an ATI 60" 6 bulb fixture running and it was the same color. his was even shaded??? idk

ok i'll try and mount it on the side of a structure. maybe that'll bring the color out?

cool. i will build a overhang for my dragonsoul!

and my other colony in this pic is under leds
