Anyone else ever have dreams/nightmares about their tank? This is probably something to do with my pending transplant of my 75 into a 90 cube, but I've never had dreams about my tank before.

Being Sunday I decided to roll over for an extra half hour this morning and woke up after dreaming that I had just come home, I could hear a popping/sizzling sound, yet nothing smelled burnt or electrical. My 75 only had about 6" of water in it, but there was no water on the floor at all. The only sign of anything was a white water stain on the floor, the kind you see when a spill happens on a finished hardwood surface like a table and it isn't cleaned up right away. Nothing wet, no salt crust anywhere, nothing. The power heads were all moved below the low water line, and half the fish were in the sump.

It was the oddest thing, as if the water level had been intentionally lowered while I was out of the house.

I had an early morning just waking up revelation of how to clean up the look of my ATO bucket. Instead of having a plastic bucket beside the tank I got a 10 gallon tank to keep under my DT. I had been trying to figure this out for a while and the simple and cheap solution came to me in a dream.

I usually just have dreams about fish stores that sell colonies of top tier corals for a low price. Happy dreams

Yes. I've had nightmares of tank crashes, RODI floods, and every type of tank disaster...it seems I subconsciously have stress issues with my tank! ;Hilarious;Hilarious;Drowning;Drowning

Had a crazy dream last night about a tank that wasn't even mine, but somehow I was adding fish and coral to it. I don't remember a lot of it now, but the general feeling it left me with was something along the lines of "so many tanks, so little time", like I was somehow on a mission to fill every tank out there with animals.

They say that anxiety can manifest itself in dreams. I wonder what I'm worried about in this case?

I’ve been reading a lot about dosing recently, and just had a dream where I calculated how much I’d need to dose ;Hilarious

Hmmm...Maybe it's the fear that one day we will no longer be able to import corals anymore and the last thing to save our hobby will be the reefers currently stocked. It's funny but I think about this all the time.

I know I have had such nightmares, but I tend to forget them upon awakening.

Here is my weird thing:
Any time I am home and hear the sound of sloshing water begin (e.g. rinse cycle beginning in washer, empty cycle on dishwasher, a toilet flush from floor above) I have an instant reaction to launch into damage control. The sound of spilling water is not a relaxing sound any more.

I've only had dreams of picking up my 300g 6 hours away... I guess I was thinking of it too much that I had a dream. Turned out just fine.;Wacky

A few weeks ago when I ordered my first corals I had a dream that they arrived and I put them in my tank... that was it, that was the whole dream ;Hilarious

I dream of my tank occasionally, but more often I dream out going to fish stores. Probably because I used to go all the time but since I moved to the middle of no where I only go a few times a year. I don't think I've ever had a nightmare though, always good stuff :)

My aquarium dreams, when I recall them, are 98% disaster dreams. ;Facepalm

Ive woken up in a dead sweet that my tank was leaking and I could hear the rush of water as it escaped the tank.

It was just my son in the bathroom. To reassure my self I made a trip to the basement and turned on the antic lights. Sighed and went back to bed.

Been there. Definitely have gotten up and checked just to reset my brain back in reality so I could fall back asleep again.

Had a dream once that my emerald crab had babies with gargoyle wings that flew everywhere and ate all my fish

last week, I dreamed of having a flatworm issue which never happened before, woke up with a satisfaction that I solved it.
