drilling a 100 gal

guys have never tried drilling a tank but i need to.. where and how big would you suggest i drill a hole in my tank?

First you need to decide what kind of overflow you are going to use. What size drain lines? Are you going to drill your return or run it over the top?

Also, make sure the glass is not tempered.

Check out glass-holes.com I used one of their kits before and it was very easy to do.
