The best way would be to contact marineland and ask, but they'll likely tell you that if you drill it the tank is no longer under warranty. The other best way would be to do the laptop and the sunglasses test.

If it's not all boxed up, most fish stores will let you test it before you buy it. I tested several 75 gallon tanks before I took one home.
