Has anyone drilled a hole for a John guest fitting into the rim of a trigger systems sump to add more dosing line holders? Was thinking of doing it but don't want to risk integrity issues.

@gatohoser

How'd it go?

Do you have any pictures you could share?

I'm looking at the same situation. I would love to use the clips that red sea provides but that won't work with our fat-lip trigger sumps

Trigger should really look to expand their product offerings to include clamps and mounts for various sump equipment.

Not well. I drilled a hole but the John guest bulkheads I had of various sorts were all too fat to pass through a hole as big as I was willing to drill. Any bigger would risk the integrity of the rim. I just passed the dosing line through which is RO tubing and attached a push to connect connector to secure it from pulling back through in the end.

We've have a snap-on dosing line expansion for the Trigger Sumps that typically have just the 4 push-connect fittings over the rear corner of the return chamber. This one expands to 12 but can be modified for less.

It incorporates the original wire management arm.

We can make something that slips over the rim so you dont have to drill the acrylic and risk damaging it.
