I am playing with a DIY dry food. I already feed tons of frozen, this is just an alternative.

Is there something besides garlic that will attract a marine fish?

I don't know about somthing to attract them but for finicky fish I feed 50/50 live frozen and throw in a few flakes sort of works

I doubt garlic...would be interesting if you could test it. ;)

Attractants may also be viewed as pollutants.....they're going to be water soluble or otherwise messy.

Amino acids and fish oil are the two I can think of....not sure how they fare quality-wise in a dry food though. Fats oxidize...
