@Vinny@GHLUSA , @Ditto

I’m setting up my Profilux 4 kit and found that one of my PH/redox probes had gone dry. The directions state that it can be conditioned by immersing it in irrigation fluid for 24hrs.

What is the Irrigation fluid? It looks like it might be saltwater but not sure. Lots of what looks like salt creep at the top of the probe.

I'd say that probe is still moist as you can see the fluid around the probe body. It is only a problem if the probes are left to dry out in the air.

If you calibrate that probe I would wager it'll work just fine.

I’m not to worried. Just want to know what the conditioning fluid is. I’ll just soak the probe per the instructions and it should be ready to calibrate shortly after that.

Probe is in good shape. :)

What you see is the fluid crystallized at the rim of the probe cover. As long as the probe is moist on arrival, it will calibrate and work as expected.
