I've had the rocks in just plain water with a power head for 3 or 4 days. I then changes the water and added non-splashless bleach for 2 days. The ones with the sort of yellow/orange color haven't lost that color. Should I put those in a tub with some muriatic acid or does it not matter?

I'm giving the rocks one last soak in water with some bleach. The orange color has not come out of the rocks so I'm going to take one of the small ones and give it a quick dip in some muriatic acid solution to see if that has any effect on whatever is causing the orange color. If it doesn't do anything I'll just give it a good rinse and put everything in the tank and add in the salt water mix and let everything sit for a few weeks.
