i have these beautiful pieces of dry fiji rock, which from what i understand cant be mined , or rarely found anymore, which belonged in a tank, way before i had interest in the hobby. So far i bleached it, im curious if anyone has ever soaked them in Rodi water , to see if copper was leeching . How long would it take to soak in rodi water , if copper was in it to show up on tests, aka salieft Copper test .
Would it show it self on the get on ? a day or month a year ? anyone have experience in this ! thanks ! Would get to toss this rock

Copper will leach if it was used and show up on test kits. If present you can bath the rock in an acid bath to help remove the copper in conjunction with something like cuprisorb, metasorb or polyfilters. It will take time, it’s not cheap but the rock can be made useable again for all types of corals including sps.
