So I'm breaking down my tank, and have 50 to 60lbs of live rock. I will be out of the hobby for 3 years. Instead of giving the rock back to the LFS i was going to let it dry out and store it in a container/box dry and clean. Will this rock be usable in 3 years, obviously, it wouldn't be live but are there any precautions i should take before storing it and then when re using it?

I would soak it in a solution of peroxide and water for a few days to break down all the organic stuff. Rinse it off then let it dry
