So I just checked my tank after getting home and I noticed one of my Duncan corals completely gone. I’ve never see. This before. We have a tank maintenance guy come out every two weeks and said our tank has been doing great. We did add an emerald crab because of a tiny bubble algae problem but I’ve never seen him try to eat any of the corals. He stayed in the rocks for a few days but he comes out a lot now. Could he have eaten it and me not know? Here is a picture of the one in question and my other one that looks really sad too. :(

thanks for your help!

I couldn't tell you what caused it but could it be polyp bailout?
You'll probably get more help on here if you post your parameters.

I would do a round of tests and post the results. How long ago did ya get the crab? Its possible it has a taste for duncans but not likely it was the crab. In the second pic there's still some meat on that duncan and if the crab was eating it ya think it would look torn up and all of it would be gone.
