I have a 160 mixed reef mainly Sps with a few lps. All my coral is doing well except my Duncan I've had this coral for a few years and it has always done really well for me, a few months ago it closed up and hasn't opened up since I've tried moving it a few times and nothing seems to help. Any ideas on what the problem could be

It's been closed for months? Any tissue loss?

The Duncans I have had in the past were always the canaries of my tank, they were the first corals to react to declines in water quality, rise in SG or temp.

Is there a coral sending out sweeper tentacles at night next to the Duncan?

Yea closed for I don't even know now at least 6 weeks there probably 30 heads on it and not one appears to be dead just not opening its in a spot all by it self so I don't think it could be another coral, As far as water quality idk maybe I am fighting a little alage right now but it was closed when I had too clean of water

That's a very long time for a Duncan to be close do you have any before and after pics
How are the other corals in your tank
What are the params
My Duncan's are also the canaries of my tank so I would test your water
But pics and numbers would be helpful
