So I’ve had two Duncan’s for about 6 months now at first was open now nothing, kept awaiting for them to die but every once a while they will barely come out. Any suggestions?? All parameters are in check and recently started to entice them with reef roids but nothing.

Do you have clowns in your tank that show a special interest in them? My Duncan's did this for a while only to find out my clowns were trying to be hosted by it, eventually the Duncan gave in and everyone's happy, but they were mad for the longest time. And I know you said parameters are fine but any chance you can post some numbers? Also what lighting are these guys under and how far down in the tank are they?

That all looks fine. What kind of flow are they getting?

This, Duncan needs a lot of flow and light, plus your no3 is a bit low, but not deadly

Got good flow and light, I mean I have turn light down a bit due to the power of radions. And no3 low?? What I read most people say 0?

What’s your salinity?

Notice those are all people with SPS dominate tanks. LPS corals, much like yourself, need Nitrates and Phosphates to thrive in the aquarium. I recommend 5-10 but that’s my opinion.

You think that would be ok for a mixed reef?

Agreed, my tank got to clean and my toadstool hated it. Now that i've laxed a little on water changes he's starting to open up again and my sps all still look amazing :) Especially under my new lighting.

And in the past my duncans have also "receded" for no apparent reason; patience and given your good parameters and feeding they can turn out to be the stars of your tank.

+1

Also I have laxed myself on WC been about 2 weeks.
