Anyone else having success? Medium growth but definitely thriving. I do drop it some pellets about once a week. Currently at 20+ heads. Ive had this one for about 2-2 1/2 years now. Can't grow Hammers or Frogspawn though lol.

I have one in my SPS nano, altho it is a new tank, it's doing well. I'll get on my phone and post some pictures. It's a 7 head mini colony I got online. I test 0 NO3 and 0 PO4 with Red Sea test kits, and dose Red Sea energy A and B every day.

I don't have a good picture but mine started off with 2 heads @1.5 yrs. ago and is now the size of a cantaloupe. I even have frags that are 5-7 heads trimming it back and I'm running a mixed reef. I don't feed mine, just whatever it can catch feeding fish.

Too low of nutrients, I run close to 0 No3 and 0 Po4. They never seem to eat for me. They last a good 6 months maybe and then start to go down hill.
Start daily dosing a touch of both, even with a pump, just to get it measurable. Everything would benefit, and you could get those lps to thrive.

I prefer SPS over LPS so I'm not going to sacrifice changing my regiment and risk browning out my SPS.

I have never had problems having hammers, duncans, etc in my sps dominant tanks, so I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for you?

Where do you keep them? I have a frag that's been closed up a few days now

Love my Duncans. I've had him a little over a year now.
Running a mixed reef with NO3 at 1-2, PO4 at 0.00 - 0.02.

My duncans, frogspawn, torches and hammers are thriving in my sps dominated tank....to the point I don't know what to do with them. My elegance is probably the worst offender. I don't think your sps would mind a bit of phos or trates : )

I have two Duncan colonies. One in my ULNS nano the other in my "dirty" 75g. They like a low to medium flow and low to medium light it seems... there's not much room in the nano so it's about mid way in that tank under a Kessil A160. The 75 has 2 SB Reef 16" running blues at 80% for 12 hours and whites at 40% for 4 hours. The Duncan is upper middle of that tank, butt it had more NO3 and PO4 to handle the lights. SPS hates that tank.

Very nice, I️ have mine over 1 also and it has over 20heads. Some heads got algae and I’m trying to clean it up.
