so ive had my duncan in its spot for around 3 months maybe and its been doing great and its fully open with long tentacles and yesterday i moved in a bit because i was cleaning it and the morning after both big heads came off but are still alive any thoughts?

Weird... sounds like you put them on a high flow area and that did the trick. I had a 4 head candy cane and the heads popped off 3 of the branches due to high flow.. just my 2cent.

"Coral polyp export" its refered to, and the only reason I've read about why this happens is tooooo much flow.
