So I bought my first coral about a week ago and it’s finally starting to extend a little over half way but now for some reason my zebra hermit crabs are starting to crawl all over it. I’m wondering if it’s trying to pick up any reef roids/leftover food on the coral or just because it’s in the substrate and are simply exploring. Anyone else have this issue with his particular hermit and corals? Or hermits in general?

It could be. Hermits are scavengers. They will absolutely steal food from coral given the chance.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
