Polyshades works too and less work/coats since it's clear and stain in one.
It has a different look than stain clear seperate, kinda opaque less wood grain depth rich color, but for inside hood who cares really.
Exterior of course is less exposure and breathes so danish oil sounds cool, post pics when done, would like to see the look
I'm finishing up building the frame this weekend. then doing the Danish oil on sunday hopefully. before it gets to cold and starts snowing. I want the frame done by tomorrow. which it should be. hopefully. I may have to let it sit for 12 to 24 hours. but if I can get 1 coat in on sunday maybe 2. it should be enough. then do the poly in stages. that I'll have to do inside the house in the basement. since it will be to cold come Monday and snow is expected sunday night to Monday morning.

Ah, maybe heat lamp and fan if you got em, and be safe if you do, or just long dry times.

tanks coming along. screwed up on the first 2 attempts. thank god I was using Furring strip. .80 apiece. tried to avoid knots and such but not much they had didn't have knots. so I was force with wood that had knots and etc. but shouldn't be that much of a big deal. i'm reencforcing the frame . hopinig by tomorrow to have it mostly put together minus the front. top will have to have holes drilled into it. but no big deal on that. or I may just rig a few pieces of wood and then lay the lights on those. but not sure yet. pics will be coming as soon as phones charged
