Dying tips on SPS

RTS is a unknown cause as far as i know, ive seen it happened to me a couple times putting some new SPS in my tank (frags) and died. i dont know if it was from stress or chemical warfare from other corals in my tank and or change in temperature. But i have agreen montipora that a urchin like to nibble on from time to time, the monti would have a RTS but then recover. I noticed the recovery would speed up (and or become greener in color) on days i didn't remove the rotting nori stuck in my feeding clip. Im not a chemistry major or a biologist, my findings are mostly as how i see it.

So it's been a few weeks now, figured id give everyone an update. I believe it ended up being i was starving out my tank and that was my issue. I turned off my scrubber..for now and started dosing acro power again. I also got 3 more fish in my tank. I ended up losing a piece or two but some ended up surviving as well so that's good news. Also i noticed almost an immediate stop to the tissue recession as well.

Everything is looking happy now but i ran into a new issue now, i got a cyano bloom going on in my tank now. Phos are still showing low like .03/.04 but i know its higher then that with the cyano. I picked up a bottle of phosphate rx a while back and have been dosing it a bit to try and get my phos down. Aside from that/removing by hand what i can anything else i can do to help beat this? I stepped up my water changes as well doing about 15% every week to try and beat this. I'd like to get a handle on it before it gets too out of control.
