Hey all - I'm wanting to install an led strip in my stand that will go on when one of 3 doors is opened. I have an APEX EL and a breakout box that I run different switches too, but I've read something about using a 24v connector or something? I'm not at all experienced in this.

What would you say is the easiest way to rig a door switch and light if I don't really want to use a plug on my EB32? Which specific equipment should I pick up?

Thank you in advance.

Rather than rigging a door switch, get a rechargeable led fixture with a motion sensor. It’s easier to install and saves you a plug in your cabinet. I got these:

That's a good shout. Thanks.

I'm mainly interested in how a 24v plug works with the Apex EB832 since that would save me a plug as well. I'm just not sure how to hook up the string of lights to the 24v plug.

But I like this idea as well since it's way simpler than running all of the wires for the doors etc.
