What is the best mode to set the Ecotech mp40 es with a mixed reef tank?

There is no one size fits all answer here. It depends on tank dimensions, coral placement, lps/sps ratio, etc. but I found lagoon mode worked well for lps, reef crest was better for sps, and nutrient export mode was generally good too. Having said that, I am not a fan of vortechs due to the noise.
