Posting a video of my mp60 error. Will not take a reset.

Background: unit was working fine, took off wet side to clean, replaced the wet side. Now is showing stall error.

-Can confirm both sides spin freely
-Unit tries to spin 3x then retains and stall error

@ecotech

Flashing red and green usually indicates a pump stall error. Does the pump start spinning at all when you plug it back in?

Sounds like something wrong with the wet side since this started happening after you cleaned it. Take it apart and inspect it to make sure there isn’t anything stuck in there or broken. If you want to confirm it’s not an issue with the dry side you can hold the dry side in your hand and turn it on to see if you get the same error.

Thanks, I understand that. It looks to be a software error to me. As the units on both sides spin freely.

Yes 3x as noted in the post ! Ty for reviewing

For anyone else who gets stuck in the same situation. I feel this was a software error still....Here's what gave me the fix.

Starting status: Flashing Green to Red ( Stall ), Wet side spins freely, Dry side spins freely. Upon a power cycle. 3x attempts to spin, but seems jammed.

Power cycle>Hold Mode + Set ( this sometimes didnt work or took multiple attempts )>Mode till purple/red>Set , this is the full reset cycle

Unit worked , but this took 2-3 tries of getting this right.

My guess: the magnets between units were slightly off, and the stall error is very weak threshold. Need a way to power through the stall.

Whenever this happened to me, it turned out to be a faulty power supply. Just changed up the cables to a cheap one off Amazon and it fixed it

Why do you believe it was a power supply issue?

Not enough power to drive the unit around? Causing a false stall?

Maybe?

It’s just the only solution that worked for me the several times this happened to me. There was a thread that I found and it was my go to fix. It’s sub-20 dollars on Amazon, so I just swap it out for a new one whenever this happens

Haha!

The problems (which used to be yearly) disappeared after I replaced my wet side after ten years of use, but this is what I used to buy for my MP40.

Still using this one, but haven’t had to replace it in over a year now after getting a new wetside

UpBright 24V AC/DC Adapter... Amazon product ASIN B00DUQLJII

The crap thing about it, is you almost might as well replace the whole unit.
