Ecotech Vectra L2 head pressure.

Hey Family! i finally finished plumbing my new build.... im curious about head pressure on my Vectra L2. Im using it to power the return, fuge and media reactor. There are a bunch of 90 degree angles and im curious do i need to get another pump? Or is the vectra L2 beefy enough to handle the abuse? I charted out the flow of water through the manifold...id love to hear your thoughts. Id rather replace the pump now than after the tank is running. Dark blue arrows are flow from the pump, while the lighter blue arrows are from the drain.

So I pretty much have everything that you do plus a frag tank... I'm running mine from the basement up to my first floor. The l2 just makes enough for me. Like literally if I added 1 more thing with a single gph consumption it would pull it from my display. Lol. But since your running from under the tank I'd think your fine.

Thanks! How much flow are you getting from your return? Id prefer to still get 4-5x turn around if i could.

I'm draining a full syphon 1in and a partial drain on the second 1in. So I'd say I'm getting about 900gph flow into my tank which is 10ft above my sump.

I was originally using the m2 when my sump was under the tank, but when I added a new sump in the basement with the frag tank it just wasnt enough. I was hoping the L2 would be bc it would be an expensive mistake if not lol.

It's right. I have enough flow for everything on my system. I have the sump in the basement with a 10ft vertical and 8ft horizontal run to my main tank, it feeds a manifold, that feeds my frag tank, my carbon reactor, uv, chiller and my water change tank.. flows everything with the rates I need. I do run the pump at 100% but it keeps up.. if I needed to run anything else I might have a problem. But I'm very happy with it. and besides if I needed to, I now have a spare m2 pump I could plumb in Haha

I realize it's been a while since this post. Lol. I was just wondering for your returns? Are you running sch 40 pvc and where do you have it T off ? I'm planning a similar build w 10 ft of head pressure. Planning on using 11/4" until passing through the floor then t up into the return bulkheads at each corner of the back of the glass.
