ecoxotic stunner strips in a 29 biocube

I have a 29 biocube with a nancustoms led retro. It is only blue and white leds. I want to put a couple magenta ecoxotic led strips in. Can i mount the leds to a strip of aluminum and screw it to my existing heatsink or will heat be an issue? Any better way of doing this? Any other problems? Thanks in advance
