Eel quarantine procedure

I am wanting to get a snowflake eel and was wondering what would be the correct quarantine procedure for them. I see that copper is out of the question. Would a TTM with prazipro treatment and observation be the correct method, or would any other meds be warranted. I have seen multiple threads where Jay Hemdal states that some meds cause liver issues in eels, but have been unable to locate an actual procedure for a quarantine for them. Thanks for all the input, and hopefully this will also help some other peeps as well.

Snowflake eel can be placed in observation for any issues as they are resistant to certain diseases (not immune)
Options would be chloroquine Phosphate at 50ml per gallon OR hyposalinity ( 1.009) for 28 days

What happens is that coppersafe often causes eels to stop feeding during treatment. For freshly imported eels, that can harm them because they don’t have good body fat reserves. So, I try to avoid copper on eels.

I avoid TTM because handling eels is a pain, and it really only works against ich.

Hyposalinity works against ich and flukes but not velvet.

Chloroquine phosphate plus prazi is the most comprehensive treatment for them, bit it is tough to source the CP.

Luckily, eels don’t carry a lot of communicable diseases.

In the end, I just use hyposalinity on them.
