How can I tell if my eel has internal parasites, if at all?
What can I use to treat it? I only have Prazi and Flatworm RX, and am lucky to have even that. I'm concerned because eels can be sensitive to certain medications, I'm not sure if that extends to the above two.
I quarantined 6 black mollies, acclimation to salt for 2 weeks and they were fine. Put them in my eel tank (testing to verify velvet has been eliminated), and suddenly white, somewhat stringy poop. Wondering if maybe they caught it from the eel, or if it didn't show up during QT for whatever reason, and now the eel will have it.
Being Canadian, this prazi is all I have, once it's gone, it will be nearly impossible to replace, so I don't want to use it if I don't have to, hence no prophylactic treatment.
