Has anyone use eggcrate in their aquascaping? I want to scape an Aussie acan garden in my cube tank on a slight slope and would like to do it without rock. I was thinking eggcrate but I'm worried about it being seen. Does anyone have some awesome ideas?

Thanks.

You could also use a nice piece of rock that is the shape you want and drill holes in it for the plugs if thats why you want to use egg crate.

Most of the acans aren't fraged. I was more so wanting to use the egg crate or something else that is really flat to keep them close to the bottom of the tank, I only just want to slightly elevate them

Hmmm well you could possibly make something out of black acrylic. Im not sure the corals would attach to that tho, im just thinking from an aesthetics point right now.

I used Aquablox. They are used in ponds or Rainwater harvesting. I cut them with a bandsaw and zip tied together. I have some small panels leftover. I will give them to you if you pay shipping.

Thanks for the offer, however I will have to pass. Postage to Australia isn't cheap.
