egg crate

where do you guys get your plastic egg crate from? i can’t find it at home depot or my hardware store and it’s 25 bucks at the lfs and i only need a small portion

Home Depot, but it’s in a weird place next to the rugs and paint.

It’s ‘lighting diffuser panel’ but it seems to be randomly placed in the store.

If you use the Home Depot app- it’ll have the bay and aisle map with its pinned location.

Crazy- I lived in Mountain View for 6 years while I was at Stanford. Miss it like crazy.


East Palo Alto (for example) has it listed as ‘see an associate’. Sounds like it’s hidden away somewhere in the store. It’s one of those things that’ll be put wherever there is room.

homedepot and lowes both carry it for $10-13 range and its in the lighting section of the isles.

My local store has it behind the paint, adjacent to the rugs. They have it- it’s just hard to find and an associate won’t know what ‘egg crate’ is without a sku number

Our store has it in the back close to the wood section . Back where they keep frp panels

My local depot sells it in the lighting section... I just buy one piece and have used it for different projects...
