Hi all - I have a quite new tank (about 1 month old) and some eggs have appeared on the glass. I thought that they must be snail eggs, but they look more like fish eggs?? They are very small -- this whole cluster is about 1cm across -- laid about an inch from the surface.

I have:
- two ocellaris clownfish (I thought quite juvenile)
- 5 dwarf cerith snails
- 2 ninja star snails
- 2 trochus snails
- 2 astraea snails
- 3 hermits

The hermits are out because this is quite high on the glass. One of the ninja star snails (astraea relative allegedly?) was hanging around the area for two days around when they appeared, so I thought it must be from them. But I haven't been able to find pics of snail eggs, and they don't look like the solid white oblongs of the other snail eggs I have been able to find pics of?

1) what are they? 2) should/can I do anything?

Cool, thank you. Are they likely to get eaten? The clowns seem to be leaving them alone which seems a little surprising. I think they must be ninja stars because that's the only snail that went up there -- can I do anything to protect them? Or will they be fine without protection?

Caviar- if fish don’t eat them, something will
