Best choice between the 2 PLEASE. I know what the most recommended units are, but just CANNOT spend that much. Thanks in advance!!!

I prefer the Pro Max (or any company) that documents the exposure flow rates in terms of uw/cm2 which is important to set correct flow. I don't find Eheim documentation at that level of detail. Lifegard is a reputable aquarium/pond supplier. Eheim is reputable as well (love their heaters). It's strictly that I like to know exactly what I'm getting and doing. Plus I like the Pro Max options on installations.

I haven’t really been able to find ANY reviews on the EHEIM unit. …..other than it only goes up to a 24 watt version.

Anyone have any experience with the Eheim Reflex unit?
