Looking good already! We love our starry blenny - they are easy to sex as well - it’s all about the first three fin extensions at the front of the anal fin - iirc if they are extended it’s a male. There’s a good post about it on here somewhere. Ours is a female and we call her Ariel cos well she has aerials on her head! She is totally bonkers and actually lets me touch her - I think she likes it as she pushes against my finger! Nuts!

Good luck with your tank move!
Oh nice thanks for the info!! I’ll check for that. It’s super slippery and finds all the good rock crevasses to perch in. Hard to get to a good photo but I’ll be on the watch for an opportunity! Thanks!!

Happy new year all. I haven’t posted in a while. Been super busy with everything… tank is doing fine but I got a terrible aptasia outbreak which I am using peppermint shrimp and a filefish to deal with.. they are not doing the job so thinking about getting one of those 6w lasers to melt them down.. idk.. at any rate the tank is healthy. I am slowly removing some rocks to open up flow better.. and just cooking them in my curing barrel. I added a goni… and my BTA has split multiple times now.. I’m going to let the nem just take over that whole right side.. maybe pair up my tomato with another small one.

I fragged my caulastra into many parts and placed them around the tank. They’re doing great .. the only things not doing well are my cloves.. they really didn’t like the transition from the other tank. Bummer as they were epic large beautiful colonies.

Anyways here are some photos:

Try Berghia for aptasia, they work
Yeah I’m thinking about that too.. I’ve read the shrimp and filefish will pray on them though.. but at this point I’m willing to chance it. Thanks!
