All of us local reef keepers are going to be affected very soon with skyrocketing electric costs unfortunately.

Great, just what we need more expenses. If my 50% increase in groceries and 30% increase in gas wasn't bad enough now a 45% increase in running my tanks.

It seems natural gas suppliers do not want to tap the wells that are already drilled in the US, and instead are enjoying the jump in natural gas prices from $2 per MCF to $7 per MCF today. I guess why increase supply and risk a price drop when you can charge triple from a couple years ago. Record profits at everyone's expense.

My fish tank cost $100 a month. So ridiculous. With AC and my electric car, my June bill is almost $600
