Electrical cord length??

So first world reefing problem. As I was testing out the tank for leaks, I noticed my wave maker cords don't reach and had to Jerry rig. I was going to put a controller board on the right side, but they would definitely not reach from the left. What do people do? Extension cords?

I just use whatever I can find lol. I have used outdoor as well as indoor....never had any issues.

Mine are all 50ft+... will need to buy some 4ft ones.

Yeah, I would definitely just go as long as you need.

I made diy extension cords. Used standard house outlets and junction boxes then ran cord from them to a male plug to plug into apex outlets etc at the control board. just basically an extension of the apex outlets to a more manageable spot. Makes maintenance and everything a breeze! Mines also a basement sump/fish room.

I would use an extension cord!
