Hello Everyone,

I have been out of the hobby for about 4 -5 years because of a move and I could not move the tank because of the moving company my company that was paying for the move hired. Things have changed in life quite a bit since then but now I am at a place where I can start setting up a tank again and have the space to do it!

My first journey before I had to sell was with a 425 XL where I learned a lot about setting things up, maintenance. I by no means consider myself experienced but I learned quite a lot in my first go around.

This time I have decided to get a Innovative Marine 150 EXT. Looking at different tanks and complaints about seam failures I decided to go with something else and with the lagoon style IM 150 EXT. It gives me some time to get some other equipment before the tank gets delivered since it is a MTO system.

Tank System: Innovative Marine 150 Complete Reef System
Skimmer: Bubble Magnus Curve 8 Elite Protein Skimmer
Lights: 2 x Nicrew 200W Gen 2
ATO: Tunze ATO
Wave Maker: 2 Icecap 4k Gyre Glow Pump with Wave Maker Engine (Looking at other options here as well so any advice is appreciated!)
Heater: 2 x 300W BRS Heater with Helio Controller (I was thinking about maybe going with one since I am in Florida and we don't have wild swings in temperature as some colder environments)

There is also a lot of other stuff that I need such as Salt, Testing Kits, etc.... and I am working on Finalizing that list. I am happy to be back in the community and cant wait to get my tank up and running!

Looks like you're putting together a very nice system!

Good luck!

You will like the IM systems.
I have 3 ext's, 170,112, and 50.
Look into the Tunze Orca's. 2 6105's would be all you need for flow.
I run 2 sweeps on the 170 and 1 on the 112.
Current 170
