Hello everyone.

I've just brought a cooling fan. it's seems pretty useless. it's a 6 fan, 12V 1A plug

Would I be ok using a 24V 1.5A plug to increase the power of the fans ? Or am I likely to set a fire ontop of my tank

use the proper adapter. You don't have the proper amperage. Fish don't like the smell of melted wires...Ha

What is the problem with it? not enough air movement? If that is the case, make sure you look at the CFM numbers. The higher the number, the more air you move. I am using a 4" 120V Fan with great results.
