I picked up and elegance from a guy taking down his tank yesterday. I thought it was a typical euphilia, so I placed it by my other euphilia....and it quickly killed a head on my torch. I can’t seem to find a lot on their care and preferred placement.

How much flow do they like? My tank is mostly SPS, so it’s pretty “flowy.”

How much light? Again, SPS tank with pretty strong light.

What do you feed them? I’ve heard people fed them some pretty meaty stuff.

Does everyone place them on the sandbed?

I just moved him (away from other corals) so it’s not fully open yet. It seems to have four or five mouths.

Sand bed is fine, low to moderate indirect flow. Feeding is typical of other LPS, small meaty foods. Definitely keep it in it's own area.

Yes elegance has a very strong stingers so keep away from other corals. Keep it well Fed. Your lighting should be fine.
