I am looking for assistance with an Elegance I’ve had about a week. The first few days it was looking good but has since not opened. So looking for suggestions or references.
My tank is a 625 Red Sea with 3 160w Ref sea lights par at the elegance is around 170par.
Nitrates-7.2ppm
Phosphate 0.15ppm
Alkalinity 9.2
Cal 460
MAG 1380
Salinity 1.025
Ph 8.1 daytime 7.9at night
It’s a mixed reef tank running two yrs.
I have LPS and some sps including frogspawns hammers and at least 6 Gonis. Birds nest, slimmers, challis, montipora.
Fish consists of several Tangs, Chromis , rabbit fish,Anthas, flame Angelfish, hawk fish.
I use mostly AF products for coral nutrition and carbon dosing using AF bacteria products. PNS and Energy +. I feed Benepets coral food and fish food as well as mysis and a home made fish food.
All my corals list are thriving and growing nicely especially my Gonis. So I’m looking for advice on a elegance

Those numbers look good to me. I wonder if theres anything else in there that it doesn't like. You have ICP numbers? Also, maybe 170 is a little high?

I do have a ICP I’ll post it. Do you think 170par is to high? It’s kind of getting indirect lighting as it’s slightly under an overhang. I’ll post the ICP

they can handle a lot of light 170 should be fine. Was this a newly imported specimen? I know they used to be known for acclimating badly.
I would look for symptoms of elegance coral syndrome just in case

Yes from Australia. What do you recommend I use? I acclimated it in iodine before placing it in tank. Should I do a cipro dip?

You can try Boyd Chemi Clean treatment..Look up Chris Meckley dip for LPS elegance corals
