Just added in some soft corals, will place them tomorrow and send some pics! Any idea if this is a genuine weeping willow?

Brief Update:

I still have yet to receive my pump, skimmer, and ATO from Red Sea… go figure. If they don’t arrive by the next fish shipment I’m going to put in another pump in the meantime so I can get the sump up and running.

I have a kraken lid in and it’s definitely great.

Added in two Firefish, a banded snake eel, a fire shrimp, and ten trochus snails this week. So far everyone is loving it and the fish are all happy.

The Obstacles:

Found some aiptasia on a couple zoas that came from a lfs. Removed them real quick and all the corals are happy.

Bought a baby snowflake eel who was super skinny and within 5 minutes of being in the tank swam into the wavemaker. He died the next day, it was tough to watch, and a hard first death for the hobby.

Diatoms are blooming, ugly stage sucks but I’m happy the tank is maturing.

Next Shipment from Dr Reef includes:
  1. Earmuff Wrasse
  2. Midas Blenny or Royal Gramma or a Goby, any idea what should be added first?

  3. 10 turbo snails
  4. Longspine urchin
  5. Cleaner Shrimp

@Petcrazyson - I got some pictures from Dr. Reef of the white tail tang and I’m not so sold, any input or thoughts?

Sold on the colors? Health? Looks healthy. Not sure why Dr Reef is putting the fish under that stress but I never liked him anyways lol.
Does this seem to have good coloring to you?
Good coloring.

Mind me asking why not?
IME not too trustworthy, puts fish under stress to sell them, like you see in the photos, and too many shipments of DOA fish and unhealthy fish. I mean he is succesful in what he does he does what many can’t and earns good money. Just not for me

Do the central pacific white tail tangs have the same coloring as the ones from Tahiti?

Just got the majority of the sump up and ready. Having some issues with the Reefmat sensor and the pump which is super loud but otherwise everything seems ok.

I noticed that the rocks now have a bit of green on them, would anyone mind giving an ID?

Anyhow quick update:

Added in a jester torch coral from @Coral Kai , beautiful torch that is so far doing great!

Firefish are not as shy anymore with me, and some of the zoas are starting to grow mini polyps!

Feeding the eel has been tough, added some ghost shrimp, tried some squid and I think he took a small bite… but let’s see.
