Elos magnesium test kit

I was wondering if anyone has used the elos magnesium test kit.

Just went through a bottle of Reagent D.
I don't know if i'm using it right or not.

For regeant A used between 30-35 drops.
When I get to reagent D I wound up using 60 drops the first time and figured I did something wrong. Did it a 2nd time and still same thing.
Pretty much used up all of reagent D.

for those that have used it does 60 drops or more sound right for Reagent D?
Used up a whole bottle and It seems i'll be going back to salifert.

Last step I also dont' get the pink-volet color they say. More of a dark burgundy color and from there it turns to green.

OMG,
Thanks breakin. But I ran out of reagent D right now because of my stupidity.
Doesn't say on the directions to throw the first batch out. There's money down the drain. ><
Haven't seen ya around reeferscafe in awhile dude.

i think it does say to throw the first batch out and rinse the test tube!

Yea,
On Direction 2.1 it says Repete as per point 1.1. Which is to rinse the test vial in tap water I guess over again. Can't blame anyone for my stupidity.
