Expensive yes, but the quality is quite a few steps above Red Sea Reefer tanks. I've owned both. Whether or not it's worth it is up to you to decide though.

I'm not sure red sea offers that... and then we don't talk about the quality of the glass which is absolutely not the same.
But don't worry, the 160 XL pensinsula is no longer available and has found a happy reefer in Alaska.

You’re right, I should see the tanks for myself before comparing them. Red Sea has been my gold standard due to the excellent silicon and low iron glass, but my only other experience has been with petco or LFS made tanks. I did not know there were more ways to improve a glass box— your overflow alone looks insane. I take back what I said .

After doing more research, I see what you mean. It is not a fair comparison; I thought Red Sea was a Ferrari, but it has been downgraded to BMW!

My next build, when I grow out of the deep 300, will definitely have to be an shallow Elos . Luckily that won’t be for a long time xD
