Emerald crab attitude

My emerald crab is scavaging and when fish get near he snaps at them...is this normal? Fish are snowflake clowns and a tiger goby

Mine did that. I think it's just a defensive move. As long as they have food to eat I think they are pretty harmless

Okay good. Ill hopefully swing by tomorrow. Gonna be a stressful day doing a tank transfer

Mine does the same. I have a red mithrax and an emerald. As the others stated, I think it’s nust defensive.
