I’ve had this emerald crab for like 2 months now and was initially green and within a week it turned white and has stayed white. It’s got plenty of bubble algae to eat and I drop a few algae tablets onto the sand every few days to keep him fed. At first I thought he was just molting and read that they get white during that process but it’s been awhile now. Ang idea what could be going on with it?

Really? Maybe my eyes are just bad then :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: This is the best pic I could take he always hides by my nem. His body looks pretty white to me compared to the rock he’s on. Idk

So cute how it hangs by the nem :) Any change in diet? Looks a lot like mine- I suddenly noticed mine was whiter on the body like that, with the green claws… I wondered if it molted etc… I was only feeding pellets for about a month before I was told the tank can enjoy the frozen options too. Now alternating frozen mixes as well as pellets for several weeks and feel like it’s greener again.. or maybe it’s just my eyes playing tricks on me!
