Just got a hammer at njfragfest, gently trying to take it off the plug, with fingers, was being very very gentle, and bam, it crushed

Not much you can do Stewy. Just secure it into the system and see how much of it recovers. Trying to glue to glue it back together or surgically cut part away will likely just cause more stress.

I tried to move it to a cup cause I don’t like the amount of flow it’s getting, and piece broke off

People use band saws and cut off wheels to avoid this problem..

Nobody can answer that bud. In pristine conditions you may end up with 2, poor conditions and you will likely have none survive
