I just had a turbo snail die in my tank and now the Po4 is 0.19 should I do an emergency water change or am I fine? It looked okay yesterday but it definitely died today

Oh I see okay thank you so much this makes me feel less concernedAnd for future, water changes do virtually nothing to lower phosphates because they are bond in your rocks and leach out.
I don’t think my phosphates are going up (I rarely test) I only have two baby clowns and 3 huge snails but I got them to clean up green hair algae during my ugly stage. I think they are starving because my sand and tanks looks clear from any algae and I’m at about the 1 year mark. I think I may just have a high Po4 tank. I also do weekly 15% water changes and run carbon (that smell was horrible)Big snails dying can sometimes make the water stink for a little while but that's it usually. If your phosphate is going up, check for your input sources such as pellet or flakes foods.
This is normal, I have snails die all the time. Just stay in and keep us posted. What size is your tank?I don’t think my phosphates are going up (I rarely test) I only have two baby clowns and 3 huge snails but I got them to clean up green hair algae during my ugly stage.
