he is being way more active like swimming around out of his cave system he’s about 5” long is this normal?

My engineer gobies do frequently go for a swim as well, though they do spend most of their time under the rocks. The larger of the 2 in my work desk aquarium goes swimming around more often than the smaller one who rarely ever does.
