Firefish and Yellow Watchman Goby Missing for Two Weeks.

Hey,

The firefish and yellow watchman goby in question both went through copper + praziquantel quarantine without any issues. I then added them to the display tank.

I saw the firefish the following day swimming inside a cave, but I haven’t seen either of them since. I’ve tried looking for them during feeding time, but I haven’t been able to spot either one.

I also have a large tiger pistol shrimp that occasionally pokes its head out from its tunnel, but I can’t see the yellow watchman goby with it.

The tank is 250 gallons and has around 20 other fish, including some that are about the same size as these two. I also have a lid on the tank, so they shouldn’t have been able to jump out.

It’s been two weeks now. Is it still possible they’re just hiding, or should I assume they’ve died?

Very easy to lose track of two little fish like that in a 250 gallon. They may still pop up but it could really be either scenario you asked about and you won't be able to find out until they show themselves.
