I went full blues then used an amber filter

yeah it’s actually quite useful and fun, especially when you have livestock in the tank! See if there are any cameras out that have an easier option to upload pictures to flickr or something, without having to connect to your laptop. My camera claims it has WiFi, but I have to use some weird app in order to make it work. However, good chance I’m doing it wrong!

I think the best way to get videos on here is YouTube. Not sure about other methods.

Thanks! Actually, I managed to fix. Took a combination of fine tuning the gate valve I attached to my drain, increasing flow on my manifold, closing up the built in overflow valve and adjusting my vectra l2 lol.

Happy New Years! A few updates.

-added maybe 10-15 more lbs of live rock from my buddy’s cryptic tank.

-had an aiptasia outbreak that 10 peppermint shrimp destroyed.

-I impulse purchased a Fiji 11g cube I’m going to plug into my current system. Will run a xr15 g4 pro on it and grow out some more corals.

-switch to run my t5’s for a good 7 hours and reduced my radion settings. Par ranges from 275-475 which seems to be working for me. Had a couple of pieces rtn on me, not sure why. The common theme is wild indo’s.

-Flatworm stop really works well. Corals love it. Took a good 3-4 months of repeated use to see effects.

-goal is to remove my 6line next and put in a yellow coris wrasse that hangs out in my refugium. I’ll stick the 6 line in the cube.

-Tank is pretty packed. Here’s my list I have in grow out mode. Probably missing something.

Oh - also added two gyres. These things are awesome but cleaning them borderline makes them not worth the headache.

Got the new tank plumbed in. Smaller than I though. Borderline useless but oh well. Not sure why I can’t quiet the overflow down.

-tried a ball valve at the end of the drain and closed it up.
- tried adding pvc to the main drain



lighting - using a xr 15 g4 pro. Got a rms. Debating on having it hang off of my elos or one of the sides of the frag tank. Will measure par tm.

flow- not sure here. Debating on adding a mp10 or upgrading the gyres on my display. The controllers are pretty much shot and will need replacing only if I ever decide to change up the flow settings.

2 year update. Tanks been thru some crashes. First one was aluminum from those marine pure spheres. Don’t want to start a debate. I’m going by pure data. I have biweekly icp test results for 6 months of Me slowly removing the spheres and aluminum decreasing.

Next crash was iodine spike from tank sitter. We did an Alaskan cruise and when I came back, iodine was 1800.

Lastly was a bacteria infection but that only affected my tenius. Here’s the tank as of last night.
